The 2012 Volvo C30 is a four-seat, two-door hatchback provided in two models: the base T5 and the sportier T5 R-design. Every model can be updated with either the new Premier Plus or Platinum trim level that basically groups well-known features into packages for easier ordering.

The T5 contains 17-inch alloy wheels, height-adjustable seatings, a trip computer, cruise control, full performance accessories, a tilt-and-telescoping helm with stereo controls, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker CD stereo system with an optional stereo slot and USB input.

The Premier Plus trim adds a performance glass sunroof, performance front seatings, LED daytime lights and aluminum inlays for the dashboard . The new Platinum trim contains the Premier Plus upgrades along with driver bench memory, a navigator and a luxury 10-speaker surround-sound stereo system with satellite radio.

The T5 R-design model features mechanical upgrades to offer more performance, including 18-inch wheels, a quicker steering ratio and a sport-tuned suspension that is 30 percent stiffer.
