Skoda Citigo dimensions

Skoda is continuing its growth offensive by introducing its seventh model line. Skoda Citigo is the name of Skoda's new small car. The brand's new model will make its debut in its domestic sphere, the Czech Republic, before the end of this year, with other European countries following at the beginning of summer 2012. With this 3. 56-metre-long car, the Czech-based vehicle manufacturer is extending its offering portfolio and entering the small car segment (A00). Product maximum utilisation of room and four seatings for passengers, the Skoda Citigo will be launched as a 3-door, with a 5-door version to come in 2012.

The Skoda Citigo is one of the cornerstones of our growth strategy. It paves the way for huge opportunities in a new segment, explained Skoda Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland. The Skoda Citigo is literally a 'simply Clever' vehicle. Despite its small size, it provides ample dashboard space; it is agile while frugal. Put simply: it's an appealing choice product many clever ideas. The vehicle provides all of Skoda's values in a compact suite and fits perfectly with our aims.

With the Skoda Citigo, Skoda is targeting a new buyer segment. The demand for small vehicles with low fuel consumption, at a favourable price tag and with reasonable operating costs, is growing, continues Prof. Vahland. Skoda's new small car is a reaction to this trend. We are entering new ground and the Skoda Citigo will attract prospects mainly in our European markets.
