The 2011 Saab 9-4X is a stylish luxury crossover that packs in a lot of features. But it's slow for its class, and the Aero model is very expensive. The 2011 Saab 9-4X is a compact luxury crossover available in three versions: 3. 0i, 3. 0i Luxury and Aero.

The base 3. 0i comes traditional with 18-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone automatic conditioning, a performance driver bench with memory functions, a tilt-and-telescoping helm, reclining back seatings, leather upholstery, Onstar and a seven-speaker audio system with a CD player, radio, an optional stereo slot and an Ipod/usb stereo interface. The Performance suite adds a performance liftgate, a rearview camera, power-folding and auto-dimming look mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power-adjustable pedals and heated front seatings.

The 3. 0i Luxury contains the contents of the Performance suite, plus various 18-inch wheels, headlight washers, automatic wipers, keyless ignition/entry, remote ignition, a performance passenger bench, ventilated front seatings, dashboard ambient lighting and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound stereo system. The Technology suite adds adaptive bi-xenon headlights along with front and back parking sensors. A navigator is auxillary and contains a touchscreen interface and 10GB of digital audio cargo. To the navigation system you can add the Back Passenger suite, which contains three-zone automatic conditioning, heated back seatings, back bench stereo controls and a rear-seat entertainment system with dual headrest-mounted diplays.

The Saab 9-4X Aero adds to the 3. 0i Premium's traditional equipment a more comprehensive motor, all-wheel drive, 20-inch wheels, adjustable drive options, foglamps, a sport helm, the navigator and the Technology suite. The Back Passenger suite is auxillary. All Saab 9-4xs can be equipped with a panoramic sunroof. .
