Renault Twingo dimensions

Small, purposeful and aggressive the Renault Twingo Renaultsport looks like it has been left in the summer sun and started to melt into the road. It has lower side skirts, much bigger wheelarches, updated bumpers and skinny low-profile tyres. Select the Cup suite and the shorter suspension drops the Renault Twingo by an extra 4mm and fills the wheelarches with 17-inch alloy wheels (16-inch wheels are standard). Out of all the current Renaultsport vehicles we think the auxillary chequered flag decals suit the Renault Twingo best.

Being a city vehicle, the Renault Twingo is likely to be driven one or two-up on shorter trips, but it's still reasonably practical. The boot has 165 litres of room, with 285 litres on provide if you tilt the back seatings. There are two back seatings which can slide fore and aft, product only just enough room for adults. Think of them as occasional seatings for shorter journeys.

As traditional you get a tuned chassis, Renaultsport rev counter, tuned steering, body kit, 16-inch alloy wheels, climate control, sports seatings, leather helm, aluminium pedals, radio CD, electric windows, fog lights, tinted glass, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers plus electric door mirrors. Auxillary equipment contains the Cup chassis kit fitted to our test vehicle which contains stiffer springs and dampers and bigger 17-inch wheels. Also available are cruise control, curtain airbags, back parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, conditioning, Renaultsport dashboard trim, wing badges and stickers.
