The 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sl-class is a two-seat roadster with a retractable hardtop available in three models: SL550, SL63 AMG and Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG.

The Luxury I suite adds the Airscarf neck heating system, performance cargo closer, heated and ventilated seatings, keyless ignition/entry and multicontour seatings with massaging, and lumbar and bolster adjustments. Also auxillary are parking sensors and a glass roof panel. The SL550 Night Edition (100 units only) adds matte-finish black paint, newly developed seatings with arrow-shaped seams and silver-colored contrasting components, special black dashboard trim, two-tone 19-inch AMG wheels, and darkened headlamps and taillights.

The SL63 AMG goes beyond the base SL550 with a bigger V8, Speedshift MCT transmission, 19-inch wheels, high-performance brakes and suspension, sport helm, AMG look and dashboard trim, and the multicontour sport seatings. The Luxury I suite is auxillary.

The Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG adds a twin-turbo V12, original 19-inch wheels, track-calibrated suspension, an AMG limited-slip differential, updated brakes, raised top speed, parking sensors, the glass roof panel, the Luxury I suite and diamond-pattern leather upholstery. Many of the Mercedes-Benz Sl65's performance upgrades -- minus the motor -- are available on the SL63 via the AMG Performance suite. Active cruise control is auxillary on all Mercedes Sl-class models. .
