Jaguar XK dimensions

The 2012 Jaguar XK offers the luxury and convenience expected from the legendary marque, as well as high performance and decent value. Jaguar XK Convertible offers the following pros: Strong V8 engines; impressive balance of performance and comfort; well-crafted cabin; loaded features list; less expensive than many competitors. Jaguar XK Convertible drawbacks are: Small backseat; cab can feel claustrophobic; finicky touchscreen controls.

The 2012 Jaguar XK is available in two body styles and three principal models. The Jaguar XK and Jaguar XKR are available in coupe and soft-top convertible body styles, while the high-performance Jaguar XKR-S is coupe only.

The base Jaguar XK comes loaded with 19-inch wheels, an adjustable suspension, keyless ignition/entry, automatic bi-xenon headlamps, LED running lamps, back foglamps, power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, front and back parking sensors, a rearview camera and automatic wipers. Dashboard features include leather upholstery and dashboard trim, heated and cooled 10-way performance front seatings (with adjustable bolsters and lumbar support), heated performance tilt-and-telescoping helm, driver and passenger memory functions, and automatic dual-zone conditioning. Electronic features include a touchscreen interface, a navigator, Bluetooth, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, a Six-cd changer, an Ipod/usb stereo interface and radio. The convertible adds a power-operated roof and tonneau cover. Adaptive headlights and HD radio are features.

The Jaguar XKR adds a supercharged motor, various 19-inch wheels, updated brakes, updated exhaust, adaptive headlights and HD radio. The Dynamic Pack adds 20-inch wheels, updated suspension (springs, dampers, lower ride height), a larger back wing, a lower front aero splitter, rocker sill extension, a back aero diffuser and red brake calipers. The Black Pack adds various 20-inch wheels, a larger back spoiler, front aero splitter and black trim in lieu of chrome. Also auxillary are adaptive cruise control and sport seatings.

The Jaguar XKR-S adds a more comprehensive supercharged motor, wider 20-inch wheels in a matte grey finish, updated exhaust, a more aggressively tuned suspension, a carbon-fiber front aero splitter and back aero diffuser, a trunk-mounted wing, an extensive aerodynamic body kit, heated-only sport seatings (cooled function removed) and original dashboard trim. The Bright Pack adds chrome look trim and bright polished wheels.

Features on all Jaguar XK models include a heated windshield and a sport helm wrapped in faux suede. .
