The 2012 Hyundai Tucson is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV that is provided in three versions: GL, GLS and Limited. The GL base model comes traditional with 17-inch metal wheels, privacy glass, keyless entry, air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, a height-adjustable driver bench, tilt-only helm, a 60/40-split-folding back bench, full performance accessories, a trip computer and a six-speaker audio system with a CD player, radio, an optional stereo slot and an iPod/usb slot.
The GLS adds 17-inch alloy wheels, an updated suspension, roof rails, heated side mirrors with inbuilt turn signals, cruise control, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping helm, cloth and leather upholstery, Bluetooth, steering-wheel stereo controls and updated trim inside and out. All-wheel-drive GLS models also get heated front seatings.
The Limited trim tacks on 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, foglamps, a front wiper de-icer, dual-zone automatic conditioning, a six-way performance driver bench with lumbar adjustments, heated front seatings, leather upholstery, a trunk cover and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. An auxillary Luxury suite available only on the Limited adds a panoramic sunroof, touchscreen navigator, a rearview camera and a seven-speaker updated audio system. .
