The 2011 GMC Yukon is a full-size SUV with three rows of seatings that are capable of accommodating as many as nine people. There are three versions available: SLE, SLT and Denali. There is a Hybrid model and an extended-length version known as the GMC Yukon XL discussed in separate reviews.
The SLE comes traditional with 17-inch wheels, roof rails, automatic headlights, running boards, heated mirrors, tri-zone automatic conditioning, cruise control, six-way performance front bucket seatings (manual recline), a leather-wrapped tilt-only helm, Bluetooth, Onstar and a nine-speaker Bose audio system with radio, iPod/usb slot, optional stereo slot, CD player and back bench headphone slots. The SLE can be optioned with a 40/20/40-split three-person seat bench that raises seats capacity from eight to nine people. A Comfort suite adds back parking sensors, remote motor start, a rearview camera (with mirror display) and power-adjustable pedals.
The SLT adds foglamps (optional SLE), leather upholstery, the Comfort suite and the expanded availability of auxillary content. Features include an Off-road Suspension suite, heated eight-way performance front seatings with driver memory and power-adjustable lumbar, ventilated front seatings, second-row captain's chairs and a navigator with real-time traffic and auto-dimming rearview mirror. The SLT-2 Equipment suite adds a performance tailgate, power-folding mirrors, heated second-row seatings and a second-row performance bench release.
The Denali adds all the Slt's above auxillary equipment plus 20-inch alloy wheels, special Denali look-and-feel cues, add-on dashboard audio insulation, a heated helm and a 10-speaker surround-sound Bose stereo system.
A sunroof and rear-seat entertainment system are auxillary for each GMC Yukon. A blind-spot warning system is auxillary on the SLT-2 and Denali.
