The Chevrolet Matiz is produced since 2005. In some countries it is sold as the Chevrolet Spark.
This small car comes with a choice of two petrol engines. A 0.8-liter three-cylinder unit is coupled with an automatic gearbox. It delivers enough power to keep up with the traffic in town, but feels out of breath on the motorway. Another 1.0-liter engine has slightly more pull, but that's just about perfect for everyday driving. It has to be worked hard on the motorway though.
It's ride is well controlled at any speed. Furthermore the small Matiz absorbs most of the bumps and lumps well. The only problem are large potholes. Because being short and small it suffers from body roll going through the corners. Car's power steering is light enough to make parking easy, but it is still accurate on the motorway.
