The 2012 Cadillac SRX is a compact luxury crossover SUV available in four versions, including Base, Luxury, Performance and Luxury.
The base model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, roof rails, keyless entry, remote motor start, dual-zone automatic conditioning, leatherette luxury vinyl upholstery, an eight-way performance driver bench, a reclining and 60/40 split-folding back bench, a tilt-and-telescoping helm, cruise control, Onstar, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker Bose audio with a CD player, radio, an optional stereo input slot and an Ipod/usb stereo interface.
Move up to the Cadillac SRX Luxury and you get front and back parking sensors, power-folding outside mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming, automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, keyless ignition/entry and a performance liftgate with adjustable maximum height. Inside there's leather upholstery, driver bench adjustable thigh support, an eight-way performance passenger bench, heated front seatings and helm, driver memory functions, power-adjustable pedals, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dashboard accent lighting, the U-rail trunk management system and a rearview camera. Features include a voice-activated navigator with real-time traffic and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound stereo system with iPod/usb slot and digital audio cargo.
The Performance model adds 20-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension and adaptive dampers (all-wheel drive only), updated steering, adaptive xenon headlights, foglamps, the navigator and the Bose surround-sound stereo system.
The top-of-the-line Cadillac SRX Luxury brings a few extra goodies, including tri-zone conditioning, ventilated front seatings, heated back seatings and back bench stereo controls.
A rear-seat DVD entertainment system with dual seatback-mounted diplays is available on all but the base model. .
