Cadillac DTS details:
While Cadillac's full-size 2011 Cadillac DTS luxury sedan has some good qualities, it's outclassed by newer and more desirable rivals. Cadillac DTS Sedan offers the following pros: Spacious and quiet interior; cushy ride; tremendous cargo. Cadillac DTS Sedan drawbacks are: Unimpressive performance and handling; difficult to park; subpar dashboard materials.

The 2011 Cadillac DTS full-size sedan is available in four increasingly well-equipped versions: base, Luxury, Luxury and Platinum.

The base Cadillac DTS contains 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, foglights, remote motor start, dual-zone automatic conditioning, leather upholstery, performance front seatings, Onstar and an eight-speaker CD audio with radio. Step up to the Luxury model and you get 17-inch chromed wheels, a sunroof, front and back parking sensors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, triple-zone conditioning system, heated and ventilated front seatings, heated back seatings, a heated helm, driver bench memory options and an eight-speaker Bose stereo system with a six-disc CD changer.

The Luxury trim level adds a body-color grille, front seatings with performance lumbar adjustment and massage, a performance tilt-and-telescoping steering column, genuine burled walnut dashboard accents and a navigator with real-time traffic upgrades.

The top-of-the-line Platinum adds a more comprehensive version of the base 4. 6-liter V8 motor, 18-inch wheels, an adaptive suspension, updated dashboard trim and lane-departure and blind-spot warning systems.

Some of the add-on features on the upper trims can be added to the lower ones as features. Other notable features include adaptive cruise control and a 40/20/40-split front seat that gives the Cadillac DTS seats for six.
