For a coupe, the Alfa Romeo GT is surprisingly practical when it comes to cab room. Not only is there ample space in the front, but the back seating isn't especially tight for room, although things do feel rather claustrophobic due to the thick back cornerstones. So for carrying people, the Alfa Romeo GT is pretty good as long as those people aren't all especially tall or well-built. Things aren't quite so good when it comes to carrying luggage, because the Alfa Romeo Gt's boot can stow just 320 litres, or 905 litres with the back seatings folded. Seats up, the Audi A5 and BMW 3 Series coupe have the Alfa Romeo GT licked, with 455 and 440 litres respectively. However, the BMW's seatings don't fold but the Audi's do, and when they're down, boot capacity rises to just 829 litres.
The Alfa Romeo GT is sold with just the one traditional trim level which comes with dual-zone conditioning, remote central locking, powered windows and a Cd/tuner as traditional. Also included are cruise control, a trip computer and a multi-function helm. Bizarrely, even though there's just one trim level provided, that sole model is billed as a Special Edition that contains a raft of extra kit such as xenon lights, leather trim, 18-inch alloy wheels and a 10-speaker Bose audio system. Also included are back parking sensors and different sporty details that lift the car's look. All this adds up to a suite that introduces impressive value.
